Car Valuation Process
Market Value Obtained
Once you've entered your car's details, our system looks up the market ("book") valuation for that exact make, model and specification of car, which is provided by an expert third party service.
Adjusted for Age and Mileage
After we've found your car in the database, adjustments (either up or down) are made based on the age and mileage of your car.
Service History and Condition
The level of service history, length of MOT and number of owners can also affect the price we offer. The valuation is further adjusted based on the condition rating you've provided.
Confirming Your Valuation
Online valuations by CarStore are subject to an in-person appraisal by one of our associates. This is simply to check that the condition of the car is as described.
